SGAIC Qualified Fly Fishing Coaching
Based in Stirling, Central Scotland

About Me
I'm Steven, SGAIC Qualified, Single Handed Fly Fishing Instructor based in Stirling, Central Scotland
I have been fishing ever since I was young. That early passion quickly grew into something more structured and competitive and I went on to represent Scotland at youth level with the Scottish Youth International Fly Fishing Team. Competing at that level gave me a strong foundation in discipline, technique and the finer details that separate a good angler from a great one!
Fly fishing has always been at the heart of my angling story. Over the years, I developed into a highly skilled competitive fly fisher, refining my approach through both competitions and my own fishing. In 2015, I won “The Salt” – The UK Kilchoman Saltwater Fly Fishing Festival.
More recently, I continued to build on my expertise, achieving a SGIAC qualification, further cementing my knowledge and credibility.
Today, I share my experience more directly with fellow anglers through casting tuition, helping anglers of all levels improve their technique on the water. Whether it’s starting a beginner on the right path to build upon or fine-tuning an experienced caster’s loop control and distance work, I pride myself on a practical and patient approach, built entirely on real-world experience.
